Oh my gawd!
To realize once again that 3 years have passed since I last updated "me"! Did not realize I was such a creature of habit! Guess I missed my 10th year anniversary here...who would have thought! I crossed the "rubicon" in terms of chronology and guess "Super Cougar" now applies to moi! If I were to care about such labels...but, I had fun posting to GB for the 1st time figuring at "my age LOL!" who cares!
I feel far younger (and act it), but life is too short to "miss a minute"! I've decided since "life is", then sometimes the "skirts will be too"! (short that is! LOL!) I am pleased to see that many of the ladies I've met over the years are still active here! I do hope to catch up with those I can and while adapting to tech stuff is much more difficult then say "Hair styles", I'll try to adjust my place here accordingly! I remember my dear friend Cathy Lincoln (RIP with love) once used "endearing lunatic" as a descriptor for Di'...she called it from afar, but "it fits"! Always in my heart Cathy!
In that regard, tips will forever be welcome, I am a "tech-no-not" of the first order! (still prefer a camera to phone)...heaven forbid!
If I "glitch" here or there, please forgive! I do like the emoji add in comments! I do so love putting hearts and hugs out there! That's just Di', so "grin and bear" or...not!
Guess you could say, "Back in the Saddle again!"

Redundant upon redundant, but here I am again! On one hand I am blessed to still be around to come back and say "sorry", but perhaps it's more about just trying to figure out how to stay more in touch here. My feminine persona has continued to evolve or integrate with the rest of me which has given me more peace than I have had in the past.
I've also managed to spend more time "out" which has meant working on a good balance between "worlds"! I have to educate myself on all the changes here...things do look much different, but I see friends that are still active, so I hope to be able to pop in now and then to give them my best!
You have all been in my heart and will continue to be there!

It would be repeating myself, but amazingly it has been another 3 yrs (almost to the day) since I last updated my profile. Our life journey takes us places, not always planned and while it may be our intention to "stay in touch", sadly it's not always possible.
There are many wonderful friends I have been honoured to have met and I apologize to those whom I've hurt with my absence. I don't know what my future path is when it comes to our "gift" as I call it. I know I am more "integrated" with who I am.
That has provided a greater sense of peace with one's self. I went "private" in terms of photos, wasn't hacked, but pictures did "get out" beyond what I considered before. I plan to try and be a little more a presence here...just cannot say to what extent.
To those I've tried to reach out to, I hope to hear back when you're ready. We are human, therefore, far from perfect. I am the poster child for "this"!

OMG! It has been 4 yrs since I last updated this profile, many will know I was pretty much MIA for all of 2013, the reasons, as with a lot of us, to take a "time out" or "go into hibernation"...back into the box(es) so to speak to "reassess".
I was "SOOO" active for my first few years here (as can be seen by the # of photos, friends, "groups"...etc, but like many I believe I came to "burned out some"...lose the "desire" and to a degree; had changes in our home life which curtailed drastically the opportunities to "be" Dianne.
The home life changes were not "bad" things, my dear wife is actually more supportive than ever of I finding "Di time", but our youngest son moved back home to return to college (he will graduate this year, again!) & we made room for my in laws to move into a portion of our home. They are in their 80's, in pretty good health (but pretty much are "always" at home).
For a time, it was just too much "work" to make the arrangements & in turn I think it just made sense to withdraw from the degree of interaction I was used to. Perhaps I was also too envious for a time to be reminded of what I couldn't or wouldn't do...essentially make time (& space) available.
In the end, I had to seriously ask myself, "What did I want"? Time continues to march on...it's nearly a decade since my "emergence" & having made the effort to "get out" & "be" has shown me my desire to be Dianne is still an intimate part of my being! For 2014 going forward I am seriously going to be "more" aware & active.
I don't think it will be as before, rather I hope better. More the "slow and steady" vs the "hell bent for leather"! Although...I do like leather "skirts"! Ha! As someone once said, "I'm hurt, not dead!", similarly perhaps "I've been asleep & now I"m not!"
