I am a child of the Western Piedmont of North Carolina, USA, of rolling hills, subrural neighborhoods dotted with family farms, interwound with woodlands and creeks. My photos are inspired by the intimate landscape of this region, where there is very little big sky country except that introduced by medium-large cities (more medium than large), raceways, football stadiums or man-made lakes. I do not specialize; wherever I am, there is a photograph to be found. I only need look for the light.
