In 2000 after a long career as a Regional Customer Service Manager for a Major Chemical Company, I opted for early retirement and made the Sierra California Foothills my permanent home. Early retirement has allowed me the time to explore and expand my passion for photography, art and computers.

Along the way I discovered the software program Corel Painter and the Wacom Tablet then digital filters. I spend a lot of my time painting “What If’s”. I start a painting and then start playing around with digital art tools to see what my project will look like if… The possibilities are never ending. Even after I have completed my project and saved it, I might go back to it again and again just to try new ideas and effects.

Other interests are volunteering as an instructor /coach at our Gold Country Computer Learning Center teaching computer literacy to seniors through a variety of classes, I also have just started to teach a photo auto-painting class for seniors using Corel Painter Essentials 4.

I am a collector of antique toys and advertising memorabilia and have enjoyed traveling near and far in search of items to add to the collection. I am also an artist specializing in computer generated paintings. Painting children and animals are the subjects I most enjoy painting.
