When it comes to photography, I am an amateur, an enthusiast, a hobbyist. Photography pushes me to learn, a healthy thing for my brain! My favorite subjects to shoot are landscapes and architectural details, but I'll go after anything that catches my eye. I love looking at your photos and learning more. I shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel T1i (aka Canon EOS 500D, aka Canon Kiss X3 Digital). My lenses are:

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS standard zoom (kit lens)

EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II telephoto zoom

EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM

(a discontinued standard zoom lens that is a great improvement over my kit lens in quality and sits between my standard and telephoto zoom in focal length)

EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM

I hope to slowly build my lens collection, with prime lenses as my focus (pun intended!). Also, I would consider a 35-mm film SLR in the future to really gain a better understanding of photography.

Post-processing is a real challenge that I find (to my surprise) I enjoy a lot. I use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 and onOne Software's Perfect Photo Suite 8. With this combination, I can work with layers to improve my photos even further.
