Diana has a very distinctive style to her work. She can cram more darkness and wonder into a frame than anyone else I have come across. Every photo is packed full of atmoshere, sometimes suspense, often a story, always a sense of intrigue. The Pappas stream is always worth a visit - and not a casual one either. Take… Read more

Take some time to absorb what is there. It will be worth it.

Diana is a true artist. I've had the pleasure of meeting her and I am utterly humbled by her drive and insight. She is one of the few that I have utmost respect for in this crazy, crazy world. Diana- This is long overdue. I wish you love and happiness. You are a wonderful soul and deserve every inch in return.

Diana is a master of finding art in the darkest and dirtiest corners. She has a special ability to achieve great images under very limited lighting. Plus she takes great portraits. Diana is a master of finding art in the darkest and dirtiest corners. She has a special ability to achieve great images under very limited lighting. Plus she takes great portraits. And in person she is a delight. Very warm and helpful with anything from choosing good Korean food, to the intricasies of a lens, to finding out how to catch the bus back to Jersey. She's one of the stars of Flickr and I look forward to seeing much more of her work.

Diana is not only an amazingly talented photographer; she is generous with what she knows, and an indefatigable supporter of those of us who are just beginning to learn. Diana is not only an amazingly talented photographer; she is generous with what she knows, and an indefatigable supporter of those of us who are just beginning to learn. Between the encouragement, the inspiration, and a master class'-worth of tips on technique, it's fair to say that I owe her more than any other photographer on Flickr. Plus, she's got mad technique, and a wicked sharp eye.

pappas is one of those peeps you stumble across and go, where the hell have you BEEN, woman? she's such a kickass photographer it hurts, but she's also smart and funny and kind and articulate and human and real. she is, quite literally, the bombsauce. and the things she sees -- the rust, the light, the humor in this crazy mess of a world -- are the mark not just of a fine photographer, but of an artist, as well. happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. -- albus dumbledore

Diana is a very capable and enduring photographer. She is able to see and to seek out the small details in her environment, the details most of us miss, and turn them into amazing photographic compositions. She combines her keen compositional eye with sensitivity and humor to create her best works of photographic art. Although I've never met Diana in person, in real-time, I hope someday to have that opportunity. She is a great inspiration to my imaging process. In the meantime, I'll wait patiently each new creation to be posted to her pages.
