I'm a mommy, designer, child advocate and an insane fashionista. Nothing is about me is normal, and I like it that way.

Photography is my air...my creative sanctuary in a world filled with tight assed people who want everything done by the book. Sometimes my creations are dark and emotional....and raw. I love creating mixed media pieces that are confusing and multi faceted. I want people to interpret my work for themselves, and to draw their own conclusions. Whatever meaning you find in my work, good or bad, is yours and yours alone. I don't like to categorize my photography into any certain genre. It is what is 8)

I hope you enjoy your trip through the craziness that is my photography, my life, and my art .

As a photographer i must say dianas work is simply superb, with such a wide variety of subjects. As a photographer i must say dianas work is simply superb, with such a wide variety of subjects. I first became aware of her art through her digital manipulations which are up there with the best of them, her self portraits are beautiful and full of emotion, and i always get excited seeing her latest work pop up on my homepage. She's been a friend for 6 months now, and was so helpful with information i needed when i first started using flickr. This is the first testimonial i've written for anyone so it's only right to do it for somebody so friendly and so talented in her field.

I count myself lucky to be a friend of Diana. She is one of the most talented artists on Flickr, and more important, she's everything you could ask for in a Flickr friend. She eagerly trades tips and ideas and techniques -- and that's really cool because she's so talented and knows a lot -- and even cooler, she takes the time to study her friends' images and comment on them. I love Diana's sense of style and her artistic dichotomy that explores both beauty and darkness, pain and light. She's adroit at using textures and other photo manipulation techniques, but that's just the icing on the cake, because she always starts with amazingly composed and lit photographs. She has the eye of a true artist -- and NOT just sitting in a box underneath her bed, either. :) Her art is soulful, magnetic and intimate on an emotional level, and her self-portraits are hauntingly beautiful. I'm quite excited to be her friend, because I learn a lot from her photos and I enjoy our exchange of comments. Diana is well worth investigating ... and once again, not because of that eye in the box under her bed. :) Diana, you rock!

Diana sees beauty where you would expect it, but also where you would not. She is an artist who can transform and enhance beauty so that we see something we did not see before. Part of the reason she can do this is her studied skills and her constant experimentation that takes those skills to an ever higher level. But … Read more

Diana sees beauty where you would expect it, but also where you would not. She is an artist who can transform and enhance beauty so that we see something we did not see before. Part of the reason she can do this is her studied skills and her constant experimentation that takes those skills to an ever higher level. But a greater reason is her heart for beauty and her love for people and nature. Her work brings us joy and should instruct us to look more closely at the world and the people around us.
