David Henkel is a nature photographer based in southern Connecticut. Having grown up in the Laurel Mountains of Pennsylvania, he has a deep rooted fondness for the outdoors and nature. This love of the outdoors is what drives him to photograph it at every opportunity.

David has been photographing for over 20 years. He shoots with a digital SLR camera.

His love of nature leads him to explore the northeast at every opportunity on various day trips and weekends, searching for magical light and amazing compositions.

David is currently a member of The Photography Club of Lower Fairfield County, where he collaborates and learns with other local photographers.
