Amateur photographer, with a passion for capturing images with intrest from around home and from our travels.

My workflow includes:

1.pursuit of images, normally single exposure, but occasionally HDR bracketed exposure. I shoot between 20 to 200 images for every one image I post to Flickr, picking the ones I like best to share.

2. Initial processing using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, for white balance and exposure adjustments. I also often crop the image at this stage, using standard or custom crop dimensions based on image content and the composition I want to present.

3. If needed, further processing in Photoshop. Lately I've really enjoyed using the creative capabilities of Nik Software products. I also use Photomatix for HDR images.

My photostream shows an eclectic mix of images and techniques, since I also have a life-long passion for learning and applying new skills.
