Most of my early photos (until March 2011) were taken with a KonicaMinolta DiMage A200 and (since Christmas 2008) a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 pocket camera.

Since March 2011 I am the slightly giddy owner of a Pentax K-5 digital SLR. Since March 2017 I'm also using a Canon G7x Mark II. Where will it all end?

Well, I sold the Pentax DSLR and all its lenses in 2023 and bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-RX10 Mark IV, which can (I hope) do everything.

The older infra-red pics were taken with a Minolta Dimage 7 or an Olympus C2020Z and, since Jan 2020, with a full-spectrum converted Pentax K-30. Which I sold with the other Pentax kit.

I use the Gpslogger app to make tracker files that can be imported by Geosetter which is good.

I thought 'Badly Drawn Dad' would be an amusing monicker. Although I've got two lovely grownup (?) children, I'm no more dadly than any other dad. I am badly drawn, though.
