Hi, all! I'm Dolores previously from Irvine, California, but now from Laguna Woods, California. I never really thought too much about photography until I retired. Before that, I took the usual – photos of the kids, vacations shots, and maybe some shots of my cat, but that was it. Then I took a photography class, which led to more classes, a photography club, and then to Flickr.

I started out with a point and shoot camera and thought that was all I needed. But then I bought a Nikon D5000, and then a Nikon D7200, and now a Nikon Z5. I still use both the D7200 and Z5, as well as a Minolta point and shoot. One thing I rarely use is my phone.
