I am a researcher at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, CA. I grew up in El Cajon, CA, went to college at UC San Diego (B.S. in Physics, with a minor in Space Science and Engineering), and graduate school at UCLA (Ph.D. in Geophysics and Space Physics)

I live with my lovely wife in Woodland Hills, CA. My goal in life is to be happy, to tell people what they mean to me, and to try and leave the human race just a tiny bit better off than it was before I got here.

I enjoy SCUBA diving as a hobby, and I love any opportunity to travel somewhere or experience something I haven't before.
