Amateur Photographer living in Beckenham, Kent. Originally from Dublin, Ireland. I have always loved looking at beautiful photographs but never dreamed I'd be able to take them.

 

I've only been into DSLR Photography since August 2010 having moved from a pointy clicky camera. Now, and like most people, I'm hooked.

 

I use a Nikon D3000 and have the 18-55mm Kit Lens and my latest purchase, a Tamron 70-300mm. I would describe myself as a spontaneous photographer as I don't have a particular field of expertise 'yet'.. I just enjoy taking photos.

 

I have only recently become Pro on Flick as I believe it is the best place to view and get reviewed and also to meet like minded people who share the passion.

 

Thanks to all the wonderful people here, who have inspired me and helped me improve my photography, who knows, you may see me on the cover of a magazine one day and it will be thanks to you guys that I got there.

 

I'm still learning and have a long way to go and possibly more equipment to buy but I'm in no rush as I'm happy gaining confidence with my current kit... ... unless of course, someone offers to buy me a macro lens.. ahem!
