I love my EOS30 camera, and very occasionally, it repays that love with a good photo. Only very very occasionally though....

I'm geeky and spend too much time near computers. I have little or no interest in sport, or getting boozed up.

Since Flickr don't publish you age anymore, I'll tell you that I've been around since March 1976.

My Photos

The Creative Commons Licence attached to my photos should be enough, but in case you are unsure: Do Not take and use my photographs for anything without asking my permission first. I'll probably grant it, but if you take first and ask later, you'll get on my bad side, and I probably won't.

(If you're one of my friends, this rule is relaxed a little)

Privacy

If I have a photograph of you in my stream, which you would prefer to be mark 'Private', please let me know. I will be happy to do so in 99% of cases (the other 1% will be group shots and nice photos I am proud of, in which case, I'll ask you nicely to reconsider the request :)

I will only 'geotag' (add to 'map') photos of people in public places. I will not geotag peoples homes, or other places I consider, or think they may consider private.

As of today (August 2006): If you have a photograph of me in your stream, I am happy for it to be public. If I look like a fool in public, then I'm ready to accept that a photo of that might appear on the web. Also, I have the added benefit that, with my name, it's a bit harder for people to find photos of me. However, I do ask that you do not publicly geotag photos of me in non-public places.
