I started in still photography over 49 years ago as a U.S Navy photographer. I trained with a 4x5 Graflex Speed Graphic at Building 1500, at Pensacola NAS. After carrying around 75 lbs of equipment (wooden tripod) for several months, I graduated to the Mamiya C220 twin lens reflex. I finally had the choice of either the Nikon or the Leica. I chose the Leica M2. I've never lost my love of photography and the magic it's held for me. I became a video producer and created video for 35 years. I've recently rediscovered still photography and find it very therapeutic. I've used Adobe After Effects for over 30 years and feel pretty comfortable with the digital photography realm. I own a Nikon D90 and Z8 with a nice assortment of prime and variable focus lenses. The reason I have a Nikon is because I can't afford the Leica :)
