Ewa has an understanding of light and how to make good use of it like no one else. She can see the photo before she takes it. She also can see the things that most of us overlook. I see the forest, she sees the trees...she sees the the life on the forest floor, and can photograph it to perfection. Her photos are all beautifully thought out and well presented. She also takes great care in her backgrounds, color or fantastic bokeh! She understands her lenses and their capabilities. Most of all she has an eye for what is pleasing to the senses and is an inspiration to me. I look at her photos and think I wish that I could do that, but I'm still looking at the forest. Imagine having purchased stock in Apple Computers, back when the company had just outgrown the garage where their first computers were built; imagine now how your original investment would have multiplied itself thousands of times over! That’s how I feel about my “discovery” of Dewberry Parfume’s Photostream, which must not have been more than a few days after she posted her first images on Flickr. I was immediately drawn to her wonderful photographic style, and unique way of seeing the world around her. I became a subscriber to her photography from that first look, and have been rewarded many times over by the beautiful images she (so prolifically!) continues to make. I don’t know exactly where Dewberry Parfume lives and takes most of her photographs – I’m guessing it’s on some verdant isle in the North Atlantic, but it must be a magical place because there is a palpable sense of enchantment that comes out of everything she posts here on Flickr. I look forward to being enchanted for a long time to come!
