I'm not a professional; photography is a serious hobby for me - but I do take breaks from photography (sometimes stretching to an year or two).

I started Photography in 2003-04 and I was hooked to it instantly. It all started with a borrowed Nikon F-55 and I fell in love with the sound of shutter and the power of composing a frame . After two years I bought my own Nikon F-55, for which I had to lie to my father. I think he doesn't remember it anymore :)

I loved shooting on film and I have immense respect for people who still do it. I think the learning that you get while shooting on film is great and unparallel. I was really faithful to film but it has become tough to manage it now due to limited availability and lack of time. So, in 2012 I moved on to Digital.
