I grew up on a small farm in southwestern Ohio, was raised by parents raised during the Depression (with all that implies) and am the middle of three children (ditto). After graduation from college with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, I was drafted and spent two years in the U. S. Army first at Redstone Arsenal/MSFC in Huntsville AL (still building Saturn V boosters while I was there-my favorite machine ever) and The Arctic Test Center in Delta Junction, Alaska as an Engineering Test Assistant (Drove my brand new Triumph TR-6 up the AlCan Highway and all over Alaska. Drove back to Ohio thru the Canadian Rockies in January.). After my discharge I accepted a position at a major appliance manufacturer and worked there in Engineering until my opportunity for early retirement in 2008.

And yes, I am over 18 years old (currently 66).

I am hoping to improve my Photostream as I obtain more skill and start to unlock my past photographic history from little yellow boxes of 35mm slides.
