A little bit about me:

Education:

Minnesota State University Moorhead. Major: Mass Communications-photojournalism and broadcast journalism. Minor: Marketing. I graduated in December 2008.

Experience:

My love of creating art began when I could grasp a crayon. (I love painting, drawing, photography and graphic design.) My passion for photography began in high school during my senior year.

'Professionally' I was a photography assistant my first two years in college (mainly studio work and learning how to edit digitally). Otherwise, my classes photojournalism classes focused on documentary/photojournalism style photography (and graphic design).

Since graduating,I've gained experience in a variety of photography (newspaper, portrait, event to weddings). I've been a candid wedding photographer mainly for All Event Photography in Fargo, ND since Aug. 2009.

All of my images with All Event Photography are copy righten to them, so check out their Facebook fanpage or official website to have glimpse of my work and style. I have to thank the owner, Jessica Sell, for teaching me so much more than my formal education had in photography.

Me:

I love photographing people-not stiff poses. I try to keep sessions light and fun-which often lets people be themselves. My photojournalism background does show up in photographs; you get natural poses, and moments.

None of my clients' session locations and names are revealed online unless requested. I believe that everyone has a right to privacy (plus, I don't want people to steal my images).
