The designs are inspired by my travels in Europe, Asia and all corners of India. You will find happy bohemian colors and interesting fabrics that make every piece absolutely unique. I have played several roles: TV actor(you may recongnize me as Deepika from Zee tvs Chhoti Bahu), classical and folk dancer, News Anchor, model, beauty pageant winner and all of these have shaped my sense of fashion. While on the sets I would select clothes for other cast members that would complement their personalities. It’s the same passion that I bring to my designs- they make you a Star! I love reading, travelling, photography, food but most of all I love fashion. I will go to a terrible Bollywood movie only to see the outfits and styles. This love for design makes me spend hours researching fashion trends everywhere to make sure that everything at Desi-ner Devi stands the test of time
