I am a retired IT consultant and now keeping sane as a photographer. I am over sixty-five, married, young-at-heart, well-mannered, broad-minded, with eyes wide open and an overactive imagination. I am a flâneur and I enjoy taking photographs while walking around. I love big cities and small towns. I appreciate nature, the countryside, beaches and oceans and lakes . I respect women and women photographers. I have an aesthetic appreciation for photography of the bare human body in all aspects. I have an aversion to misogyny, homophobia, crudeness, violence and derogatory behaviour. I prefer good photography made by non-professional photographers. I have no interest in AI-generated images. Unless specified, all photography is my own. Please do not use my photography without letting me know.
I am an administrator of several Flickr groups: The Art of Self-Portraits, The Expired Film Group, Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Photomontage, Self With Camera, Shadow Selfie, Art’s Bare Essentials, Art of the Male Form, Analogue Girlfriends and Boyfriends, Minimal Square, Street Art Tiles, Beaches & Landscapes, Art of Fragments, Your Mind's Eye, Les plaques de rues parisiennes, Feminist Photography, A Pair or Two Things and Toronto Stencil.

"In Toronto, you can take photographs on public property, like side walks. This includes taking photos of anything that a normal person could see from public property."
“The best way to not get lost, is not knowing where we're going...” / « La meilleure façon de ne pas se perdre, c’est de ne pas savoir où on va... » — Jean-Jacques Schuhl, from the book Ingrid Craven (2000)
I loathe and block people that post stolen photography, or those that do not share any public photos.
AI image generators, as a courtesy to members of the Flickr community, the Content type for your images ought to be set to "Illustration/Art", though I believe Flickr should create a separate category, as artists that create real art and real illustration should be insulted. Thank you.

He is an astute observer and documenter of oft ignored details. Always a pleasure to peruse his pictures and look through his lens.
Subtle and subversive, designwallah's keen eye finds irony in the urban and melancholy in the urbane.
He's simply the best to find street art.
