I've been in the arts pretty much my entire life, having taken many Saturday classes at the Toledo Museum of Art as a child then eventually started to major in art until I realized I needed to work in the REAL world. I became a registered nurse and worked in that capacity for 15 years. I moved with my husband and 3 small children to MA. After building a fabulous wine cellar in our basement, my husband and I decided we needed a stained glass window. "I can do that" I took classes, fell in love and the rest is history as they say. I love combining my skills in drawing and applying it to the glass medium. I love the fact that my pieces are OOAK, unless someone wants a patterned piece which is not too usual! A lot of people give me an idea of what they want then I have the freedom to create. I love that feeling when people really like and appreciate what I've created for them!
