My name is Lara. I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of the most perfect grandson in the world. I have the best husband ever!! My family is my strength, inspiration and sanity...well they can be my insanity at times as well! I have heard that through insanity the most significant creations can be formed...

I started designing and creating jewelry 5 years ago. Beading was my first venture in this field of art. I self taught myself to bead, but wanted more. I then began to use wire and was amazed at how much it added to my work. Still wanting more, I started taking metal smithing classes. I took classes for a year and a half and found that my work became an intricate part of who I am.

My handcrafted jewelry features natural precious and semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, sterling silver, and solid copper.

Because I use natural stones and handcraft my metal and wire work, no two pieces of my handcrafted jewelry are identical. My goal is to design and create jewelry that is as unique as the person who wears my designs.

All of my findings are also handcrafted by me :~) From earring wires to clasps to toggles and even hand sawed links and jump rings, they are 100% made by my hands using sterling silver and solid copper.

I am a jeans and t-shirt girl myself, but occasionally I like to get dressed up for a night out. This is why I design a variety of pieces that can be dressed up or down. I have found that even a pair of old jeans can look great in pearls and semi-precious stones!
