I'm Francisco del Campo, The Designer. I clarify this because there are quite a few people with the same name.

My mother used to say that "a photographer is someone who takes photographs." When I was eight years old, I was given a camera, and I've been shooting for fifty years, sometimes professionally and always for the pure pleasure of doing so. Photographing is one of the ways I've found to decide what is real and what isn't in my life; what I want to focus on and what I want to leave out of the frame.

Here I share a diverse collection of images of my life and interests, of other people's lives, and of how I understand the world. I hope they serve as conversation starters.
