I purchased my first Canon camera after high school —originally a tool to capture subjects for graphite, colored pencil drawings, and oil paintings. Over the years, my creative path led me through portraiture in fashion, senior, and family photography until burnout nudged me toward something more soul-nourishing.

About a decade ago, friends introduced me to bird and wildlife photography, and I was instantly hooked. Nature's beauty reignited my artistic spirit, deepening my appreciation for all that God has created. Today, I find inspiration in the outdoors and have also returned to colored pencil drawing, using my wildlife photographs as subjects.

Photo gear: Canon R6 Mark ll, Canon lenses, RF 35mm, RF 24-105, and RF 100-500.

Great variety in these talented photos of the natural world. So much so that it would be invidious to single out one.
