Hello!

I am a native Sonoran Desert (Southwest - Arizona) American landscape designer, with a passion for wildflowers, native, medicinal and desert riparian plants.

I have an older, point and shoot, digital camera and enjoy exploring using it in ways where I can create different effects. I minimally alter my photos, if at all. If I decide to adjust a photo a lot then I label it as an art piece.

Low light and the softness of a grainy photo intrigues me. Being a bit of a night owl myself, it is a style that fits well into my life.

I also enjoy the patterns that occur in nature and trying to capture the treasures I see in the details.

Eventually I will buy another camera, but I find the limitations of the one I have a challenge and the priority is really to just get out to see and try to capture some of the beauty around me. Mid-2014 I finally took my iPad AIr out with me to play with the camera on that. A few of my more recent photos were shot with it.
