I am a Thoracic and Vascular surgeon in Brisbane, Australia, and am very busy. I am also into gadgets generally, so the techie aspect of surgery, plus the gadget aspect of photography seems to be a natural combination! ;)

I'm also into flyfishing (catch and release with barbless hooks only) and we have a shack in Tasmania on a private lake up in the central highlands - beautiful spot, and great place to get away from work, pagers, mobile phones, etc. And some excellent bushwalking for photography.

I'm married to the lovely Jayne, who is an operating room nurse at the same hospital where I work. She also is into flyfishing, hence the shared interest in the shack in Tasmania.
