Derik spent his childhood in the sausage country. He never went to any kind of Art school, but has tried several technics (drawing, painting, stencils, graffiti …), the results are most of the time visible in the street... Along the past years his work was focused on cut-out colored paper he paints on... Using a style close to the « cartoons », he realises monsters and animals more or less imaginary. His inspiring influences are massive but the 60s illustrations remain its favourite.

Most of the time he works alone, but as a part of the Skinjackin’ collective, he collaborates time to time with other artists to fake tatoos sessions. He took part in several collective exhibitions.
