Hello, how are things?

I absolutely adore exploring and the art of photography. For me, these have been my life long passions, as well as the ambitions for my future. I began shooting with my first SLR in 2006; combined with my love of adventure, the two fit perfectly.

The world began opening up to me on so many different levels, with a new chapter around every corner.

I see photography as a mixture of science and beauty that creates magic. For me, my photos are not just another image, taken from a split second in time, frozen as a distant memory; but something from a time and place- removed from where we are now. They are both a memory of the past and a reminder who we are and how we to to where we are today. In many ways, I am not trying to capture what I see when I look through the lens, but rather what I feel.

Today, I am very much involved in exploration as part of my profession. I travel to various industrial sites around Canada and recover parts, equipment, and historical artifacts prior to demolition. I've been to paper mills, mushroom farms, cereal factories, and power plants, to name a few. I still enjoy taking photographs, though I don't get out nearly as much as I'd like.
