Magnificent view,
Like a sharp spear piercing
the clear blue sky.
Beautiful greenery lining the grounds, showing
Where the sky ends
And the Earth begins.
Water spouts shoot water high above the crowds
Adding ornamentation to the already rousing view.
As I sit in my cold classroom, I look at the picture
And see droves of people gather around what I can only bring to life
Through a photo.

Rachel is a good friend, an old friend (since the early 60s), still a friend, a trusty friend, and a loyal friend. Rachel came to NYC to visit in March, and I could hardly take pictures because she used my camera all day - so we went into a store and she bought her own. And then Rachel went back to KY and set herself up on Flickr and Picasa2. And now Rachel tells me good places to look on Flickr and soon will be telling me new things to do with my camera and Picasa. If you are going to buy a house - especially in KY - get in touch with Rachel. She's honest and patient. Stay tuned for the great bourbon photo shoot. It'll be when I go to KY. Yay for Rachel.
