Derbyq's a rockstar in every sense of the word. A phenomenal photographer, she has mastered composition and the lovely art of bokeh. And I love the tones and moods she gets out of each and every one of her shots. She's a great storyteller. But mostly, she's the best flickr friend - evah. Truly, to meet her in person is to love her (you know what I'm talking about, Erik and Kelly, Kelley, Ian, Jeanne, Cindi, and countless others). I am grateful for her gifts of beauty that her photography is, and I am forever indebted to her for her love and friendship (not to mention that she is the future MIL to my daughter =]). WOW, where do I start. Friendship, that is what matters most. Who knew when I was researching the 365 thing and came upon flickr that I would not only find a new hobby, a place to learn, so much inspiration, but friendship too. Through a keyboard and a monitor, I now think of many of my flickr peeps as friends and Shannon is on the top of that list. Her talent, her heart, her humor, her love for her son and her beauty are so inspirational. She can find beauty in dishes, snow that annoys her, flowers, landscapes, and easiest of all in her son's eyes and her own as well.
