Sadly never an artist but photography has allowed me to indulge and engage my visual side for the first time in perhaps 40 years!
Things that move me include railings, a little dark, a little light and the big landscape. Things that themselves move however remain on my 'to-do' list for the moment..... as does formal portraiture. Street Photography i find fascinating.
Love FlickR and probably spend too much time browsing its many wonders.
Recently set up my first Flickr Group which features pictures from the villages of Sand Hutton and Claxton (where I live).
I use Nikon Full Frame with a variety of Nikon / Nikkor Lenses and some shots via iPhone. No Flash, ever.
Slowly learning the possibilities with Aperture but in general like to get things as close a possible in camera with the odd tweak. seeing something pop up straight on import being the greatest pleasure.
Oh, and i am colourblind for which i apologise in advance if you see anything unbalanced, unnatural or weird where i have had a play.
