He is a nomadic photographer and artist who tries to be harmless who considers himself to be a follower of the visual artistic tradition of the Sri Lankan creators Lionel Wendt and David Paynter. Some artworks are available from Waruna Antiques, 761 Peradeniya Road, Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Most of the photographs here are taken in Sri Lanka where he tries to show aspects of that island's past, present and future. He also includes some drawings and other that he has created. This collection should be totally free of advertisements.

Since 20 May 2013 most of his photographs on Flickr are shown under the CC licence "Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Unported". This means you are welcome to make complete copies of any of them for non-commercial purposes but may not use them for commercial purposes or alter them without his express permission. Also please remember to attribute the photograph to "Denish-C". If you wish to use any for commercial purposes please send him a written request. Denish-C would like to respectfully point out that he does not usually take part in competitions nor does he join groups where he must give other members awards in order to post photographs in the group. Nor does he join or submit photographs to private groups where he cannot see the content, nor does he submit photographs to groups with a large amount of pornographic or highly political content.
