I started hand-sewing jointed bears more than 30 years ago; I know the art, although I've since gone in a different direction. I can tell you, from experience, that Denise's bears are Art. Heirlooms. The best I've seen. She draws on over a century of craftsmanship -- and yet still adds her own unique style. Even at my age, with my knowledge of the Art, I'm amazed at her creations!
