Seeing the world from behind a camera allows me to slow down and really take in my surroundings. For me, the best aspect of photography is taking a picture of something that you wouldn't have looked twice at and presenting in an interesting way that sparks someone to say, I would have never looked at it like that The ordinary that many of us take for granted daily comes alive in photograph.
Recently I launched an art photography series, Little Black Dress. The Little Black Dress series speaks to the universal appeal of a staple in female society and style. Each image in the series reflects the commonplace of a garment that was made popular in American by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s photos of sleek black dresses in Vogue magazine in 1926. Audrey Hepburn donned, perhaps, the most famous little black dress as Holly Golightly in the 1960s classic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. While Hepburn’s dress epitomized style, sophistication and elegance, the little black dress has evolved into the iconic attire for women in every occasion. Explore the little black dress as you have never seen it before.

Testimonials
I recently had the opportunity to meet Denise at a local Flickr meetup. The “photostroll” that she organized was a great way to meet other area photographers and grab some great shots in the process. She has a firm grasp of her craft, and I look forward to seeing her future work.
