Hello Flickr people! I'm putting my photos out "there" as part of a journey of self improvement/discovery. Since the heady days of the school darkroom that I loved so much, I haven't done much with a camera. Now, as a mum of two young people, I figure it's time carve out something for myself again.

I'm pretty new to the digital photography world (I clung to film until you almost couldn't buy it...) so I'm finding this new era (or rather not so new) a bit mind boggling. But you have to start somewhere!

As part of the start, for 2023 I'm embarking on a 365 day challenge to take (or at least post) a photo everyday. My aim is to see how much I can develop (no pun intended) over a year and perhaps discover my niche. I used to love landscape photography but my circumstances mean I'm having to get out of my comfort zone right now.

Oh, and I live in New Zealand, which is nice.
