I'm a former journalist and magazine editor living in Singapore, although I now work the seven seas as a navigator.

I've had the photography bug for many years now but it's only in the past year or so that I've really taken it up with gusto. My photos rated by 'interestingness'.

Most images (particularly the macro shots) are all taken with a Tamron 180mm macro lens. Shots taken with a Canon 300D.

Recently I've been getting into the experimental side of photography, with the creation of my own lenses, filters and adaptors. First up was a simple homemade reversing ring to increase my macro magnification rates followed by a tilt/shift lens.

In the pipeline is a homemade bellows lens, flash bracket, and table-top whitebox.

One of my current projects is taking photos in abandoned and haunted areas in Singapore. It's called the Hungry Spaces project, and so far the results have been great.
