I enjoy taking photographs. I grew up in a small town in South Dakota and started taking pictures for the high school yearbook. Someday I'll have to make a list of all the different cameras that I have used or owned.

I live just outside Nashville, TN in Mount Juliet near Old Hickory Lake. Nashville has a wide range of interesting places and people to photograph. Traveling is also a good reason to take photos. Actually, there are very few weeks that go by without taking at least a few photos. Now my challenge is to regularly post some of them!

Digital photography has made boxes of slides and negatives obsolete (for me at least). I've been trying to use Lightroom since about 2011 to organize my digital collection. After 9 years of playing with Lightroom once in awhile, I think that I'm "starting" to get it in 2020 ... but I'm still working on it!! I've transitioned from a Canon 60D to Olympus micro-four thirds. I'm quite happy with the light weight kit that I have with Olympus. I'm also happy with the image quality.

I've always enjoyed the social aspect of photography. I'm learning every day from my interactions on Flickr. Thanks for sharing your work and commenting on my creations.
