Thanks to all the people who have commented on and favorited my photographs. I appreciate all of you who find my photostream worthy of following. Many happy moments with a camera to you. I apologize that I don't always get a chance to view and comment on all your fabulous shots. I very much value my virtual community here on Flickr, but do try and balance it with "real" life.

My education is all in geology and I like to consider myself a "geologist," but I'm employed in a more computer-related field these days.

My photostream has a distinct contribution from the earth. I tend to be a nature photographer, but will take pictures of people or buildings if there's no good scenery around... or if I find something especially appealing.

Moved back to the Land of Enchantment in 2016 after having been trapped on the east coast for 27 years! So happy to be back in my adopted home state.

FYI - I'm surprised so few people on Flickr make use of the "gallery" feature. It is almost just like "Favorites" but it lets you group the pics you've seen others take and that makes it easier to find them again.
