I used to have a long and detailed piece about my journey but as the years went by, as I added imore of what was happening in my life it became too long I then decided it was getting too long and probably boring so I deleted it all with the intention of witting something very brief as to how I came to this so late in life. Well as is usual I never got round to ut but events have provided me with an easy escape, Recently I was approached by a press agency to tell my story to them and they wrote an article with pictures and offered it up to the press. WEll Three paapers took it up. The OBirmingham Mail, The Oxford Mail and the Mirror. All English paper's and Birmingham is my home city and the second city in England. About the same time a local person who has a Utube site said she would like to do interview with me as she likes to do them with interesting people with an unusual story. we negotiated that I would do a the interview. This ws done and went out about two weeks ago being mid March @024. So this Is available on Utube under "Communikarma" so you can sit in the comfort of your favourite chair `nd hear my story in a good Yorkshire accent . Hello everyone, I am sorry I have not been able to answer your king messages to my pictures which I so much appreciate. However my eyesight has deteriorated considerably over the last year and I am having great difficulty reading so while I can still type messages and will continue to try and send some brief responses I am sfraid I am just glad I can still take pictures and get out in a limited way to see and hear my beloved jazz. I am now 88 and hve hert problems which also limit my active life but I intend to go on as long as possible and stil enjoy dressing up and fashionable clothes. Than you once again and it is still nice to receive complements however short . Bless you all especially those of you who have been my friends over the twelve or so years I have been on Flickr. HI VERYONE/ I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPORT , MANY HVE BEEN AROUND OR ALL THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN ON HERE . CONSISTENTLY YOU HAVE BEEN SO KIND WITH YHE COMPLIMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS. I WISH YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE APPRECIATED IT. AS YOU CAN SEE I AM AGEING AND IT SHOWS BUT I JUST LOVE DRESSING UP AND WILL CARRY ON AS LONG AS I CAN. I ALSO HAVE HAD GREAT PEASURE FROM SEEING ALL YOUR WONDERFUL PICTURES AND NEVER CEASE TO BE AMAZED BY THE FANTASTIC LOOKING PEOPLE.

I AM HOWEVER STRUGGLING WITH MY HEALTH SINCE MY HEART ATTCK IN JUNE 2020 WHICH SET ME RIGHT BACK AND SLOWED ME DOWN A LOT. MY EYESIGHT HAS CONTINUED TO DETERIORATE AND IT IS HARD FOR ME TO READ ANYTHING WITHOUT A MAGNIYING GLASS AND EVEN THAT CAN BE DIFFICULT. THE SAME APPLIES TO WRITING THOUGH I HAVE A NEW KEYBOARD FOR THIS AND A NEW LAPTOP. IT TOOK ME THREE TRIES TO WRITE A CHEQUE FOR SOMEOME THE OTHERE DAY. SO THAT IS WHY I AM NOT ANSWERING YOUR KIND MESSAGERS BUT WILL STILL TRY TO MAKE BRIEF COMMENTS TO MY PICTURES . DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS TAKES ME A LONG TIME AND SOMETIMES I MAKE SO MANY MISTAKES IT TAKES LONGER TO CORRECT THEM. SO PLEASE DO COMMENT ON PICTURES AS ALWAYS BUT THE MESSAGE ES I WILL NOT ANSWER SO I APOLOGISE FOR THE DELAY IN EXPLAINING WHY.
