Hello, I’m Dave Couldwell, and I go under the name of DeeCeei, the I stands for images.

I live in a small village near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, and can get to most parts of the UK in a few hours.

I have just swapped most of my Canon photographic equipment for Leica, as I like a challenge, I will try to do motorsport with the SL2-S.

Now I have the Q3 43, SL2-S, in cameras and a Sigma 150-600mm sports lens, which I will use mostly for motorsport, and Leica 24-90mm lenses for everyday work.

I used to photograph mostly motorcycle racing, both here and in Europe, and enjoyed it immensely. Still, the money doing it just got smaller and smaller, so it was just not financially viable anymore, so in 2013, I stopped.

Now I like to take images of anything, I have a few projects on the go, but the one I enjoy but struggle with is Doncaster railway station.

In 2022 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease so I’ll have to see what happens in the future.

I do two photographic lectures, around Yorkshire camera clubs, and on Zoom calls that I enjoy doing.
