You have to know first that Deirdre is funny, warm, and wonderful company. Meeting her good-natured self in a flickrwalk, you would never suspect that this delightful person goes home and then cooks up images that make your hair stand on end. But she does. That is the wonder and splendor of Deeb'd and her photostream. That's why I'm a huge fan. I also learn from her constantly. Deirdre is not just a photographer with a wonderful eye, she is also a digital post-processor of considerable talent and originality. In the months since I've known her I've seen her pick up one technique after another - some of which I've never heard of before - and use all to striking effect. Yet all this originality doesn't make her photostream disjointed. Her photographs are always ruled by a consistent eye and taste that I have grown to recognize and appreciate, and for which I have no other word but magnificent. Without question you are looking at one of my favorite image-makers on all of Flickr. Heck - in all the world, period. My hat's off to you, Deirdre. You make Flickr one of my favorite places to be.
