I have been a Canon user for many years. I finally bought my first digital SLR in 2003 and began the process of learning digital photography. Since 1993, I have dabbled in motorsports photography and am a contributor to a weekly racing publication. I was fortunate enough to be published twice on the cover of a small racing magazine in Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, that magazine has since closed it's 'pages' to print publication.

Nature has always been very important to me. Within the recent past, I have spent more and more time trying to obtain quality nature photos with emphasis on birds. I have also launched my own website. Please visit www.dougdayphotography.com to view nature shots as well as my other interests. The purpose of the site, of course, is to sell to the public. I also use it as a tool to show prospective clients what they may expect from retaining me to work for them.
