I've been into photography for over 30 years, in my early years i was given a polaroid instant camera and from there i grew a strong interest, but it wasn't until about 10 years later that i started to take it more seriously than the odd enthusiastic snap when i was given an Olympus OM10 SLR followed by an OM40.

I started with my main subject being the railways and the odd building and a bit of wildlife and moved on to a Nikon F801s, I was then asked to take some wedding photos, i did this for a couple of years but even though everyone was happy with the work i did I personally hated it, so much so that i lost all interest in photography for a couple of years and sold all my Olympus equipment.

I was intrigued by digital so I bought myself a Sony Compact to test it out and to use on my Fantasy Collectables site The Sorcerers Library to save me money on processing costs.

I was hooked again and decided to invest in a proper camera again and bought a Nikon D100 SLR and i've never looked back, I started another website for my real passion, Gothic & Medieval architecture photography Decadence and i take some official photos for the pirate re-enactors group The Sea Thieves (and i made their website)

I now use a Nikon D200 and plan to upgrade again later this year.

My main subject interests are Architecture (gothic & medieval), Nature & Wildlife and after my brush with weddings i do my best to avoid anything that means talking photos of humans unless it's of the Pirate group :)
