I have been involved in the field of Photography for about 20 years. I retired from a successful 23 year career as an Interior Designer in the Kitchen & Bath industry designing luxury environments for South Florida and Carolina Mountain Lifestyles, to fulfill my desire and passion for Photography. In many ways, the two fields are similar, take lighting for example, the way the lighting effects the mood and transforms the space and plays off of other elements, and how everything dance’s together, it’s like a ballet.

It was then that I decided to hone in on my skills and study photography in depth. I enrolled in the Photography Institute and took as many local classes as I could. After graduating I jumped right in and began my own photography business. I started with Interiors as I thought that would be a good segue since I knew so many people in the field, and it helped me to get started. I did not realize at that time that I picked one of the trickiest branches of photography! I learned a great deal. Nature Photography came very natural to me and it contains the bulk of my work. Very recently I began Pet Photography. I am launching my new Pet Photography business in March of 2012 and dedicating it to my mother’s little Yorkie Bella Mia, who just passed. She was truly a little wonder and she will be missed dearly and remember fondly.
