When I find myself outside at 40 below zero, standing in a snowbank in my socks, to catch the fading light of the moon, It's in that moment, all the tragedies and pain of the past fade away. Gratitude finds me, for the privilege of being here in this place, right now, taking a picture!

It feels right for me, like coming home. This is why I pick up my camera and look for the moments.

I am Deborah K and based in the Canadian West, photographing the Rural Way of Life. I've gone through dozens of camera systems and find that, the technical aspects of my camera gear do not determine the shot, rather it is my availability to the moments.

I hope they bring inspiration your way, helping you to appreciate the simpler side of life and if so, than I've contributed to the Greater Good.
