I am a real property and general business attorney practicing in Northeast Alabama. I spent much of my high school and college years developing my artistic skill as a painter and sketch artist. With a busier schedule and numerous outdoor pursuits, that creative outlet gave way in favor of a more transportable and convenient hobby, photography.

Nature has always been a place of renewal for me--immediate evidence of a supreme and loving God. Many summers spent along the gulf coast and frequent college trips to the Smoky Mountains gave me a deeper appreciation for our wild spaces and ecological diversity in the Southeast. Soon I was addicted to shooting waterfalls, lakes and rivers everywhere I went. My passion will always remain "in the woods" or "on the water," but I have grown to enjoy shooting sporting events and subjects of all kinds.

Today my goal for each photograph is to capture a scene and moment in such a way that causes the viewer to stop and take notice. I want to inspire others to get out and explore the beauty around them.
