I'm a stay-at-home-mom who spends a lot of time making stuff for my etsy shop. I grew up in Texas, but now live in Maryland. I've been a free-lance photographer, free-lance writer, guitar teacher and a bunch of other things I won't bother listing right now. I have two daughters, ages 23 and 15 and I consider the fact that they both still like to hang out with their mom is one of the great successes of my life!

I'm a photographer and a button-maker and I sew handmade toys and Christmas ornaments.

I hand-stitch my teddy bears and puzzle balls because that's the way my grandmother used to make all her quilts...and because my old sewing machine can't handle that kind of precision. Oddly, I find it calms me to work on all those tiny stitches...there is much about my life that is out of my control, but I can get these tiny little stitches lined up just right!!
