I started this Flickr account primarily as a way to keep my friends and family involved in my travels around the world while in the Navy. It's much easier than resizing and emailing them around.

My photos are organized in Collections by region and Sets are places/events. I geo-tag most of my photos, when I have the time.

I began taking pictures in 2003 when I purchased my first digital camera in Singapore (a Sony DSC-P10). Since then it's developed into more of a hobby than just trip documentation. I usually upload in batches of 60 or more photos. So if you see one new one you should probably keep clicking next until they start to look familiar.

The pictures that I take are of things that interest me. Some new buildings don't interest me as much as older ones. Everywhere has a mall or shopping center so I won't take a picture unless the subject catches my eye. Sorry if you feel my photos misrepresent your area.
