I've always enjoyed photography. After many years of using a point and shoot I recently (May 2009) took the next step with my first DSLR, a Nikon D5000. Shortly after I found Flickr and opened an account, which I devote purely to shots taken with my DSLR.

Still a novice and on my training wheels, I will always be looking for ways to improve my shots and come up with new ideas. I welcome and appreciate everyone's comments, questions and constructive criticism!
