Dialogue Café uses state of the art video conferencing technology to enable face-to-face conversations between diverse groups of people from around the world so that they can share experiences, learn from each other and work together to make the world a better place.
With support from the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Cisco, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Anna Lindh Foundation and others, the Dialogue Café Association is creating a global network of physical spaces – Dialogue Cafés – which will be connected through a global exchange to enable city-to-city and multi-city conversations and activities.
The first two Dialogue Cafés are now open in Lisbon, Portugal, at the Museum of Design and Fashion (MUDE) and at the Candido Mendes University (UCAM) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Over the next twelve months we are planning to open Dialogue Cafés in London, Amsterdam, Florence, Tel Aviv, Ramallah, Istanbul, Mexico City, San Francisco, New York, Seoul and Melbourne.
